Rebecca J. Squires Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca J. Squires of Sheffield, Vermont, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Dopp and Pearl Dopp (Bickford); her husband Roger Squires; her son Jeff Squires; and her siblings, Melvin, Bob Dopp, Beverly Paris, Clarabelle Conley and Letha Thompson.
She is survived by: her pet Bandit; her son Danny Squires (Joan); her brothers, Lawrence Dopp (Donna) and Marvin Dopp; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Squires; her grandchildren, Felicia Squires (Jason Berry), Daniel Squires (Ashley), Casey Squires and Courtney Bandy (Dale Smith); and her great grandchildren, Ryder, Raelynn Berry, Mason, Anika, Easton Squires and Decan Cross.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 30 (4854 Memorial Dr, Lyndonville, VT 05851). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Westlook Cemetery.
