With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Thompson of Sheffield, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd William and Norma Shirley Thompson (McDowell). He is survived by: his daughters, Samantha Thompson (Brian Fenoff) of Concord, VT and Kori Thompson of Savoy, MA; his stepson Jason Korpi (Megan) of Sheffield; his siblings, Teri Thompson of Sheffield, Joyce Tedford (Chuck) of Idaho, Bruce Thompson (Missy) of Sheffield and Lisa Thompson (Doug Whitcomb) of Lyndonville; his grandchildren, Evan Thorn, Korbin Thompson, Ileana Fenoff, Jake Korpi, Ayanna Williams and Caleb Williams; and his nieces and nephews, Chris McElroy (Ashley) of Concord, Heather McElroy (Dwayne) of Island Pond, Melissa McElroy (Allan) of Barton and Mickaela Wright (Justin) of Sheffield. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Guibord-Pearsons Funeral Home (15 Main St, Lyndonville, VT 05851).
