It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald F. Byrd Sr. (Sharon, Vermont), born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on September 28, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Byrd and Ethel L. Byrd (Santor); and his grandson Dana Byrd. He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Hough; his wife Sharon Byrd of Duxbury; his children, Donald Byrd, Jr. of Fayston, Edward Byrd (Sue), Michael Byrd (Carol) of Eden and Rachel Bolduc (Michael) of Duxbury; his grandchildren, William McGandy, Benjamin McGandy, Nathan Byrd, Brandy Cabana, Makaela Bolduc and Lennon Bolduc; and his siblings, Larry Byrd (Carol) of Danville and Linda Lamson of Waterbury. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
