He was predeceased by: his parent Walter H. Jr; his wife Lois Ostrander; and his brother William J. Ostrander. He is survived by: his parent Ruth Thurber Ostrander, Jr.; his children, James J. Ostrander of Shaftsbury, Walter H. Ostrander (Duffy) and Mary Ostrander-Crawford of Shaftsbury; his sisters, Ruth Beatty of Westfield, MA and Millie Harrington of Shaftsbury; and his grandchildren, Olivia Smith (Jason) and Emily Ostrander. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
