He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sugarman and Golda Sugarman (Sophian); his wife Sally; and his brothers, Marvin of Roslyn Heights, NY and Tracy of Westport, CT..

He is survived by: his sons, Paul of Bloomfield, NJ and David of Bennington; and his grandchildren, Kate and Marnie.
