He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignatius Burke and Antoinette Burke (Piela); his brother Donald; his niece Melanie; and his parents-in-law, Stanley and Jane Lyko.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Burke; his children, Tawnya Trotta (Nick) and Bryan Burke (Sara); his grandchildren, Elyse, Samantha, Cora and Alex; his brother Gaylord Burke (Kathryn); his niece Lauren (Brett Buatti); his nephew Michael Burke; his sister-in-law Darlene Lyko; and also Paul Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. John the Baptist Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, through the office of Mahar Funeral Home, 628 Main Street Bennington, Vermont 05201.
