Annette Rice Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annette Rice of Shaftsbury, Vermont, born in Bennington, Vermont, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theophile LaFlamme and Cedulie LaFlamme (LeClerc); her husband Richard J. Rice; her daughter Michelle Niles; and her siblings, Leona Smith, Rev. Julien J. LaFlamme and Adrian F. LaFlamme.
She is survived by: her children, Richard J. Rice Jr. of North Bennington, Sandra Rhode of North Bennington, Tammy Gerity (Robert) of Shaftsbury and Karen Moriarty (Jon) of Langdon, NH.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a devoted Catholic, always in attendance for Sunday Mass until Covid hit.
