He was predeceased by: his father John T. Whitney, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Lorraine Whitney, Sr. (Piper); his grandchildren, Kalyce, Lorraine and Gary, Jr.; and his siblings, John T. Whitney, Jr. (Michelle L. Whitney), Jason Whitney, Peggy Whitney (Dennis), Lisa Thompson (Tim Thompson) and Andy Whitney (Debra Whitney). He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
