He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Thompson and Velma G. Thompson (Brigham); his siblings, Audna Matthews and Brigham W. Thompson; his brother-in-law Irving Young; and his nephew Stephen Young.
He is survived by: his wife Germaine Sheltra; his sister Carol Young Stevens (Ken) of St. Johnsbury; and his nieces and nephews, Duane Thompson, Jeff Young, Linda Winot, Bonnie Lacaillade, Patricia Hubbard, Allison Jurentkuff and Sarah Clingman.
