He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wallace (Mack) and Gertrude Mackay (Weston); his spouse Katherine Heath; and his sister Murial Taylor. He is survived by: his niece Jeannie; his nephew Myron Heywood; his children, Gail, Steve (Mary Mackay) of West Charleston, VT, Joyce (Rick Kline) of Littleton, NH, Jeffery Mackay of St. Johnsbury and Tamatha (Robert Spicer) of Granby, VT; and his siblings, Margaret Irwin of St. Johnsbury and Maitland "Bob" Mackay of West Danville, VT..
