We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024, at the age of 95, Vera Sjolander of Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, born in Northborough, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett C. Mentzer and Marion C. Mentzer (Collins); her husband Charles D. Sjolander; her daughter Nadine; her great grandchild Abigail Sjolander; and her siblings, Eleanor Bessom, Floyd Fitts, Robert I. Mentzer and Barbara Lurvey.
She is survived by: her children, Holly Wetherell (Michael) of Middlesex, VT, Charles I. Sjolander (Kathy) of St. Johnsbury and Curtis Sjolander (Joan) of Wheelock; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Wetherell, Miriam Rice (Christopher), Rebecca Blouin (Tyson), Karen Sjolander (Larry Sargent), Karl Sjolander, Christy Mann (Kyle), Ethan Sjolander (Laura), Seth Sjolander (Mariann) and Teala Sjolander (Michael Costable). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
