She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bengston and Bertha Bengston (Whitcher). She is survived by: her wife Linda Scavitto-Bengston; her mother-in-law Shirley Scavitto of St. Johnsbury; her sons, Paul Scavitto (Denise) of St. Johnsbury and Dustin Scavitto (Ashley) of Barre, VT; her siblings, Doug Bengston (Jane) of St. Johnsbury and Gina Payette (Linda Holly) of Cairo, GA; her grandchildren, Tristin, Therin, Wyatt, Winsley, Oliver and Vivian; her nieces, Sarah Bengston, Rebecca Phillips and Christina LaCount; and also James Bengston.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sayles Funeral Home (525 Summer St, St Johnsbury, VT 05819).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Sharon's Memory to the Kingdom Animal Shelter, 1161 Portland Street, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.
