He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Merritt Knight and Mary Hubbard Parker (Knight); and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his wife Anne Knight of St. Johnsbury, VT; his sons, David (Jillian) of Waterford, VT and Devin of St. Johnsbury; his brother Timothy Knight (Pattie) of Lyndon, VT; and his grandchildren, Jordyn Knight and Piper Mae Lang-Knight.

“I just found out from my sister Shelly that Dick has passed as Ann my first cousin his wife sent her a text. I really felt warm, welcomed and even though Dick was not feeling well when our family visited a couple years ago as his spirits were good and hospitality excellent. I admired him as all American guy that started a business from the ground up the ultimate American Dream. Rest in peace Dick and say hello to Mimi, and our family members in heaven.
