It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Martel (Saint Johnsbury, Vermont), born in Hardwick, Vermont, who passed away on July 9, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, John Barnett and Bernice Barnett (Blaisdell); her husband Romeo; her stepchildren, Joanne Martel, Jim Emmons of Danville, Eugene Martel (Tammy) of Lyndonville, Richard Martel (Kathy) of Waterford, Judith Buxton (Fred) of St. Johnsbury and Christopher Martel (Karen) of St. Johnsbury; her siblings-in-law, Roger Martel (Marcia) of Waterford, Annette Cadieux (Roger) of St. Johnsbury and Eugene Brown of Waterford; and her friend Sheila Amadon of Waterford. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
