With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Knutsen of Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Muriel and Howard Wiley; her husband Hans Knutsen; her parents-in-law, Kitty and Nere Knutsen; her siblings, Patsy and Howie; her siblings-in-law, Dora Duncan, Roger Brown and Stuart Duncan; her nephew Stephen Duncan; her son-in-law John Olson Jr.; and her great grandchild Rowan Knutsen.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Perreault (Joseph) of St. Johnsbury, Barbara Enos (Jack) of West Newbury, MA, Roy Knutsen (Janet) of St. Albans, Brenda Noyes (Jay) of Swanton and Eric Knutsen (Mary) of South Portland, ME; and her siblings-in-law, Lynne Wiley, Marilyn Brown, Edna Scheibe and Charlie Scheibe. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (6 St John St, St Johnsbury, VT 05819).
