With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Sylvia Fortin of Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, who passed away on February 26, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fortin and Nathleen Fortin; her siblings, Judy LaCoss and Larry Fortin; and her granddaughter Jillian Hegarty.

She is survived by: her daughter Buffie Hegarty; her son-in-law Sean Hegarty; her grandson Andrew Hegarty; her brothers, Donald Fortin and Steve Fortin (Sabrina); and her siblings-in-law, Steve LaCoss and Aileen Fortin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jane's memory can be made to the Good Shepherd Catholic School, 121 Maple St., St. Johnsbury, VT.
