Hugh J. Greenan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh J. Greenan of Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Greenan and Eleanor Greenan (Halliday); his wife Mary Greenan; and his siblings, Joseph Greenan, John Greenan, Eleanor Doyle and William Greenan.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Greenan (Roberta), Paul Greenan (Joan), John Greenan (Deb) and Mark Greenan (Amy); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Michelle, Mary, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Patrick and Emma Greenan. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sayles Funeral Home (525 Summer St, St Johnsbury, VT 05819). A rosary was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Will Lead. A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (49 Winter St, St Johnsbury, VT 05819).
