He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard G. Murphy and Barbara Richardson Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Donna Downing; his sons, Sean (Abby Murphy) and Jamie (Melissa Murphy); his grandchildren, Caid, Quinn, Eihlis, Howie, Devlin and Harry; his caregiver Carolyn McKay; and also Ziggy.
