She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Newell and Dorothy Newell (Pashby); her husband Stanley Nichols; her son Rodney; her siblings, Wayne "Hank" Newell, Millard "Joe" Newell and Thayer "Muss" Newell; her daughter-in-law Christina Nichols; and her granddaughter Kelly Bishop.
She is survived by: her son Rick Nichols (Cherylanne Bailey) of Deland, FL; her siblings, Che Newell (Leann Quapaw) of St. Johnsbury, Claire Parks of St. Johnsbury and Sonya Newell Mayhew of Vernon, CT; her grandsons, Jay Nichols (Danielle) and Joe Nichols; and her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Navikas, Cameryn Nichols and Chase Nichols. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
