She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Ashton and Elma Ashton (Armstrong); her husband Franklin Lamont; her son Brian Lamont; her siblings, Robert Ashton, Merle Ashton Jr. and Patricia Saltmarsh; and her brother-in-law Ralph Griffith.
She is survived by: her son David; her daughter-in-law Pamela Lamont of St. Johnsbury, VT; her granddaughter Beverly (Anthony Lethlean); her great grandchild Hunter; her grandson Ashton (Kari Lamont); her great grandchildren, Tyler and Ian; her grandson Brett (Megan Lamont); her great grandchild Jett; her siblings, Richard Ashton (Laura) and Carol Griffith; and her siblings-in-law, Rick Saltmarsh and Dot Ashton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
