He was predeceased by: his sisters-in-law, Beverly Russell of Derby, VT and Alona Payette of St. Johnsbury, VT; his parents, William Payette and Ella Payette; his son Roderick Payette; his daughter-in-law Donna Comeau Payette; and his siblings, Agnes Dickerman, William, Bud, Dennis Payette, Leonard, Alydia and Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Payette of St. Johnsbury, VT; his children, André Payette (Karen) of Lyndonville, VT and Alydia Payette of Derby, VT; his siblings, Reginald Payette of Concord, VT, Catherine, Cappy, June Mitchell (Leslie) of Lyndonville, VT and Donna Dubray (Peter) of St. Johnsbury, VT; and his grandchildren, Derek Garand (Jennifer) of Danville, VT, Corinne Payette-Raftery (Erik) of Boston, MA and Lukas Payette (Lynsi Degree) of Burlington, VT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
