She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Lemire (Flore) and Lucien; and her siblings, Lionel, Rosaire, Paul, Luke, John and Celeste Lemire.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert Hemingway; her children, Gale Hemingway and Michael Hemingway; her grandson Nathaniel Havreluk; her close friend Perley Elwood; and also Lyn Donaghy. She is also survived by sisters - in-law and her partner.
