She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald A. Fraser and Kathleen M. Fraser (Thompson); her husband Leonard A. Elliott; and her brothers, Robert "Bob" and William "Bill" Fraser.
She is survived by: her sister Eileen Beaman (Byron) of Moncton; and her daughters, Marilyn Copeland (David) of Newfane, Cathy Fisher (Mark) of South Burlington, Darlene Christolini (Charles) of Sheldon, Susan Gobien (Alan) of Severn and Ontario. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her family asks that memorials in Shirley's name be made to the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Living Memorial Fund, 11 Church Street, St. Albans, Vermont 05478.
