He was predeceased by: his parents, Perley G. Coltran and Irene Coltran (McBride); his brother Loren Coltran; and his stepdaughter Dale E. Chastenay. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Carol Coltran; his children, Dawn A. Butterfield and Douglas A. Butterfield; and his stepchildren, Doris Anne Maynard (Michael, Jay D.) and Erin J. Stehmeyer (Henry). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and "Uncle Ron" leaves nieces and nephews.
