He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer L. Benoit and Lucille A. Benoit (Daley); his sister Susan O'Brien (Thomas); his daughter-in-law Susan Raymond; his niece Melissa McGinn Sullivan; and his nephews, Michael McGinn and Matthew McGinn.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Cohen; his son Christopher Benoit; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Samantha, Miranda and Nathaniel; his sisters, Joanne McGinn (Michael), Karen Gladden (Raymond) and Mary Pat Roche (Paul); his brother-in-law Roger Cohen; and also, Diane, Jonathan Benoit (Doreen), Nathan, Owen, Erin, Gavin, Ryan, Jeremy Benoit (Elizabeth), Isabelle, Lillian and Finnegan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many close friends.
