He was predeceased by: his son Norman Rohde Vester, III; and his parents, Norman Rohde Vester, Sr. and Doris Phelps Vester. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Norwood Vester; his children, Vaughn Beth Vester, Granger Vester (Sara), Heidi Vester Silman (Joshua) and Gretchen Maskell (Greg); his grandchildren, Brooke Grisgraber (Fred), Benjamin Bombard (Jes), Sadie Bombard, Samuel Bombard, Eli Silman, Graham Silman, Calypso Martin, Levi Martin, Ryan Maskell (Brandi) and Kyle Maskell; and his great grandchildren, Natalie MacKenzie, Wyatt Bombard, Maesie Bombard and Sophie Maskell.
