Michael Edward Benway Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Edward Benway (Saint Albans, Vermont), who passed away on March 8, 2021 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Roy Benway and Mable Doris Burns (Jones); and his sister Lisa Benway. He is survived by: his partner Laurie Thompson of Milton; his children, Lucian Benway (Charlotte Pratt), Nicole of Richmond, Shaylynne Thompson (Chris Bouchard) of So, Burlington and Chauntel Thompson (Zeke Haskins) of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jayce, Avianah, Carter, Noah and Jaxon; his pets, Ruckus, Paris and Bambi; his siblings, Linda Mason of St. Albans, Mark Benway of Swanton, Melissa Benway of Austin, TX and Edward Benway of Florida; and his stepmother Peggy Sumner. He is also survived by stepbrothers, stepsisters, several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A public "Walk Thru" visitation, observing Covid Guidelines will take place Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans.
