He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bowlby and Alzada Bowlby (Bills); his wife Nancy Jane Bowlby (Berger); his grandson Michael Bowlby; his great grandchild Dawson Perley; and his siblings, Raymond, William and Shirley Hearn.
He is survived by: his children, Reba, Mike Fairbanks, Vicki (Robert Burnell), Rodney, Lisa Bowlby, Bradley Bowlby (Wendy Morgan) and Steven Bowlby (Dewey Charron); and his siblings, John "Jack" Bowlby (Pauline) and Linda Lephart. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
