It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lavoie of Saint Albans, Vermont, born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on April 29, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo J. Lavoie and Violet F. Lavoie (Thomson); his siblings, Barbara Hill, Carol Adams Stark and Robert Lavoie; and his wife Cora.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Eliana, Sylus and Isaac; his children, James J. Lavoie of New Britain, CT, Michael Lavoie of Saint Albans, Ann Lavoie Woods (Sammy) of New Britain, CT, Patrick Lavoie (Melien) of West Suffield, CT. and Margaret Danyow of Essex Junction; his sisters, Patricia Dominski of Florida and Elizabeth Crosby of Florida; his stepdaughter Brenda Rice; and his stepgrandchildren, Sarah and Alex. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
