She was predeceased by: her mother Evelyn Benham (Fayers); her husband G. William Lawton; her son Michael Lawton; her father Carl Sr. Benham; and her siblings, Carl Benham Jr., George Benham and Bettie English.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Gilman (Wayne) of Barre, Gary Lawton (Rose) of St. Albans, VT and Kellie Jette (Roger) of Saint Albans, VT. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
