He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Poirier and Lauretta Ostiguy Poirier; his former wife Jeanne Montcalm Poirier; his stepmother Lorraine Poirier; his brother Raymond Poirier; his brother-in-law Gus DiPinto; and his children, Leetha Trainer and Loren Poirier.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia King; his children, Laurinda Poirier-Solomon (Richard Solomon) of St. George, Lynnca Perkins (Tim) of Fairfield, Luann Poirier (Robin Racine) of Richmond and Lyle Poirier (Angela) of Swanton; his grandchildren, Siobhan, Daniel Vega, Analesa Perkins, Jason, Shannon Trainer, Britini Trainer and Madysen Poirier; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Allison Trainer, Kaydence Trainer and Camilo Vega; his sister Lorraine DiPinto of Medford, MA; his nieces, Linda (Tony Pasciuto), Dianne (Michael DeMatteo) and Denise Nastasia; his nephew Raymond (Donna DiPinto); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Marc Pasciuto, Vanessa, David Pennybaker, Michelle, Josh Paquette, Greg, Yuni DeMatteo, Briana, Vin DeLucia, Dana, Janelle DiPinto, Danny, Shannon Nastasia and Derek Nastasia; and also, Debra, Dan Bushey, Sadie, Charles, Smith, Eli Russell, Carly, Aaron Clayton, Jessie Bushey and Louie Escamilla.
