He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lafayette and Constance Lafayette (Lafond); and his siblings, Francis and Linda. He is survived by: his wife Faith Lafayette (Jones); his children, Thomas Lafayette, Charles Lafayette, Jr. (Nancy), Cindy Bullis (Randy), Janet Welch and Laura Lafayette (Mike); his stepchildren, Frank Johnson, Brian Johnson (Lisa), Kevin Johnson and Karen Phenix (Joe); his siblings, David Lafayette (Bea) and Maryanne Lafayette; and his sister-in-law Nancy Lafayette. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
