It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Joyce of Rutland, Vermont, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William J. Joyce to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Joyce and Eureta Joyce (Rounds); his close friend Betty A. Melen; and his siblings, Jack Joyce, Thomas Joyce, Robert Joyce, June Hughes, Pat Scott, Mary Rita Joyce, Judy Martel and Diane Joyce.
He is survived by: his significant other Betty A. Melen; his sister Alta Rice of Rutland; and his sister-in-law Jean Joyce of Rutland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (134 Convent Ave, Rutland, VT 05701).
