He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Hinchey O'Rourke and William A. O'Rourke, Sr.; his sister Mary Ellen Griffin (Gerry); and his siblings-in-law, Silvio Valente and Patricia O'Rourke.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Kovacs O'Rourke; his stepchildren, Tammy Whelan (Kevin) and Tracey Lambert; his daughter Julie Foley (Brian); his grandchildren, Matthew, Mickey, Brigid and Kate; his sons, Jim O'Rourke (Cindy) and William A. O'Rourke, III (Sandy); his siblings, R. Joseph O'Rourke (Magill), Kathleen O'Rourke Valente and Anne O'Rourke Ratkus (Victor); his brother-in-law Mike Kovacs (Robin); and his friends, Timothy Collins and Dr. Patrick Keenan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clifford Funeral Home (2 Washington St, Rutland, VT 05701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (66 S Main St, Rutland, VT 05701).
