She was predeceased by: her husband Jon A. Shelvey; and her brothers, David, Russell, Jonny and Mike Burney.
She is survived by: her former husband John A. Shelvey; her sister Judy Bourn; her friend Scrabble; her sisters, Lorraine Holland and Darlene Alger; her children, Curtis G. Shelvey (Stacie) of Aberdeen, NC., Keith J. Shelvey (Amy) of Wallingford, VT. and Corinna L. Bowen of Monroe, NC.; her grandchildren, Gavynne Helms, Trinity Shelvey, Arianna Shelvey, Alexis Bowen, Dylan Shelvey, Tyler Shelvey, Kyle Milligan and Aiden Bowen; and her brother Norman Burney of Englewood, FL.. She is also survived by children, eight grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews and cousins.
