He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Bernier and Leona Bernier (Trombly); his wife Rita Bernier (Russell) of Rutland; his children, Stephen Bernier, Jr. (Lynn), Mary Bernier and Rita Marie Lawrence; and his sister Dorothy Wyatt. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
