We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2024, at the age of 62, Sheila M Cox of Rutland, Vermont, born in Nashville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Gilligan and Jean Gilligan; her sister Carolyn Gilligan Whitt; her niece April Coleman; and her nephew Andrew Gilligan Whitt.

She is survived by: her husband Rick Cox; her children, Jared (Cory Buchanan) and Alexandra (Mike Ruetz); her grandsons, Bryson, Cayden and Westin; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Grace (John), Margaret Wetmore (Keith), Katy French (John), Joe Gilligan (Therese), Sean Gilligan (Christine) and Bridgid Hubbard (Ted Jr.). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
