The memory of Sarah Valente of Rutland, Vermont, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clelia Marro (Testa) and Giambattista Mainolfi; her husband Basilio Valente; her brother Luigi Mainolfi; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine Mainolfi, Anthony Flory (Tony) and Angelo Valente.
She is survived by: her sister Josephine Flory of Center Rutland; her sister-in-law Janice Valente of Massachusetts; her nieces and nephews, Nella Flory Moran (Stephen), Lisa Miglorie (John), Kelly Pratico, Michael Mainolfi, Jason Flory (Tannia), Angela DAndrea (Mark) and Amy Sanford (Erik); and her close friend Seguin Ragosta.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Aldous Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Rutland (44 N Main St, Rutland, VT 05701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Peter Church, 134 Convent Ave, Rutland, VT 05701.
