She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell F. Shappy and Esther Shappy Sr. (Attarian). She is survived by: her sons, Walter P. "Bud" Gilman IV and Nathan Gilman (Mandi); her siblings, Russell F. Shappy Jr. (Linda) of Harvard, MA, Michele A. Shane (Glenn) of Canton, MA and Erik S. Shappy (Kandi) of North Clarendon, VT.; her nephew Russell F. "Chip" Shappy III; and also, Marcy J. Shappy and Malori Carlson.
