She was predeceased by: her father Frederick J Shum, Jr.; her brother Norman J Shum; and her cousin Gina Rae Blanchard. She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Shum (Shaw); her aunts, Barbara Blanchard Nash, Beatrice Blanchard and Loretta Currier; her uncle Richard Shum (Barbara); and her close friend Valerie Cain.
