In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Salome's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Garrapy; her daughter Rachelledeeyne Garrapy; her parents, Jim Hughes and Winifred Hughes; and her siblings, Donald Hughes, Natalie Duffy, Billy Hughes, Daphane Wade and Doug Hughes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nyokadeeyne "Noka" Garrapy (Bill Davis) of Fair Haven, VT and Caroldeeyne "Carol" Boice (Allan Boice) of Whitehall, NY. She is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her final gift was the anatomical donation of her body to the UVM Medical School.
