He is survived by: his parent Margaret Beattie (Dugan); his children, Renie Sullivan (Sully) of Newport, Susan Carlson of Newport and Bob Beattie (Betsy) of Rutland; his grandchildren, Andrew Jennings (Dana) of Newport, Maggie Sullivan of Somerville, MA, Anders Carlson of Newport, Robert Beattie and Kiernan Beattie of Rutland, VT.; his great grandchildren, Charlie Jennings of Newport and Alex Jennings of Newport; and his siblings, Kenneth Beattie, Margaret "Peggy" Beattie and Donald Beattie.
