Richard J. Blongy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2022, at the age of 92, Richard J. Blongy of Rutland, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Blongy and Frances Blongy (Lajoice); his granddaughter Sabrina Blongy Larrow; and his friend Skip-Bo. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Blongy (Browe); his children, David (Joy) of Leicester, VT, Kathleen Blongy Bartenstein (Stephan) of Rutland, VT, Kevin Blongy (Sheri Kellogg) of Proctor, VT and Steven Blongy (Amy) of Meredith, NH.; his grandchildren, Dawn Pecor (Dale) of Peru, NY, Christy Blongy Jones (David) of Sunrise Beach, Eric Larrow of Middlebury, VT, Megan Blongy of Manchester, NH, Justin Blongy (Natasha) of Rutland, VT, Abigail Blongy (Ray Shortsleeves) of Pittsford, VT, Nicholas Blongy of Proctor, VT and Stephan Bartenstein II (Mary Marro) of Rutland, VT; his great grandchildren, Reece Rice (Keoni) and Zachary Crenshaw of Keeseville, NY.; his great great grandchildren, Alina Rice and Amarya Rice; his daughter-in-law Tina Blongy; his grandsons, Stephan II, Ryan and Eagle Scout; and also, Jordan, Tara, Marla, Cale, Cindy, Nick Sinos and Eric Peterson.
