He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Fitzsimmons and Elaine Fitzsimmons Sr. (Lefevre); his brothers, Timothy and Kevin Fitzsimmons; and his nephew James Fitzsimmons.
He is survived by: his brothers, Brian Fitzsimmons (Suzanne), Colin Fitzsimmons of Rutland and Sean Fitzsimmons-Brown (Jeanie) of Florida. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, eight great nieces and nephews, a large extended family and many dear friends.
