He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Prior and Nancy Prior (Hayes). He is survived by: his siblings, David R. Prior (Joanne) of Vergennes and Deborah Anderson of St. Albans; his nephew David R. Prior Jr. of Middlebury; and his nieces, Amy Piasecki (Joe) of Bristol, Trish Anderson of Burlington, Kayla Anderson of St. Albans and Mallory Anderson of Wilmington, N. C..
