He is survived by: his wife Linda Hier (Lethbridge); and his children, Jean Hier McGinness of Granville, NY, Stephanie Murray of Rutland, Courtney Hier (Jim Willis) of Rutland and Ken Hier Jr. (Yulia Smith) of Castleton.
