He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. "Jack" and Winifred Fortier (Merrill). He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Woodstock of North Carolina; and his siblings, Darlene Lavoie, Beverly Fortier, Diane Chick, Carolyn Behrendt and Allen Fortier. He is also survived by two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
