He is survived by: his wife Miriam Sunderland Sargent of Manchester, NH; his children, Miriam Sargent Simmons (K. Rogers Simmons) of Northfield, NH., John A. Sargent (Susan Elkins Sargent) of Hopkinton, NH and Mark A. Sargent (Elizabeth Noyes Sargent) of Delmar, NY.; his grandson William Merritt Sargent; his great grandchildren, Jack L. Haley and Sampson R. Haley; his siblings, William Sargent (Bill) of Worcester, VT, Gene Sargent (David Sargent), Sandra (Guy Stone), Robert (Darlene Sargent) and Marilyn (Kenneth Wood); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Gaylord, Emma Jean Sargent of Worcester, VT, Glenna Sargent and Judy Sargent of Chittenden, VT.. He is also survived by three children, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
