He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Sr. and Mary Agnes Kelley (Gaynor); his significant other Cecilia Kelley (Allison); his siblings, Tom of Rutland and Catherine (Wheeler) of Schaghticoke, NY; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Wheeler of Schaghticoke, NY and Bill Visi of Rutland.

He is survived by: his children, Lynda of Rutland, D. C., David of Dorset, VT and Mark (Diana) of Rutland Town; and his grandchildren, Calvin and Grace of Rutland Town.
