He is survived by: his son David Zawistowski of West Rutland; his granddaughter Susan Traegda of Enfield, NH; his stepchildren, Reginald Ryan of Proctor and Jean Pellistri of Arizona; and his sister Joan Sanborn of Florida. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step greatgrandchildren.
